My son brought me here for lunch. The outside is very welcoming. Sophia, the lady who took our order was both pleasant and professional. Fruitz brought our food, and he was very courteous. I ordered curry goat, white rice, and vegetables. My son ordered the combo, which was rice and peas, oxtail, jerk chicken, with a side of coleslaw and fried plantain. My food exceeded my expectations. It took me back to my childhood. The goat wasn't gamey, and was beautifully seasoned. My son enjoyed his meal. He said he's never disappointed. Atmosphere was great. There was music, played at a volume that you can have a conversation. If you're on your own, a couple/couples or just having a guys/girls night, this is the spot. I highly recommend this establishment.
Went there today the 12th Oct with family and friends. We ordered rum punch it did give punch. Had the real combo it was lovely only thing was the mac & cheese was over cooked very mushy not to my taste at all. The staff were nice and it was a bit cold in there but she did but the heater on after a while.
Just visited a Caribbean restaurant with my mum and it was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked. The service was warm, friendly and consistently great every time we’ve been. A wonderful experience from start to finish — highly recommend!
We went out for a family birthday dinner and had the best time! Huge compliments to the Chef, every dish was bursting with flavour. My strawberry daiquiri was absolutely delicious, and the staff are so warm and friendly. Highly recommend this place — a solid 10/10 experience!
We've been ordering takeaway from the Real Love Lounge for a while, but we decided to dine in for Sunday lunch—and it didn’t disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and went out of her way to help us find a spot with enough space for our baby's buggy. We ordered our usual mains: jerk chicken and brown stew chicken, both with rice and peas. Everything was cooked to perfection! The jerk chicken had a great char, and the brown stew chicken was so tender it fell off the bone. The spice levels in both dishes were spot on. For the sides, we ordered mac & cheese, which was creamy and buttery with every bite, and dumplings that were perfectly fluffy inside. Unfortunately, the plantain was a bit too dry for our liking, as we prefer it soft, sweet, and caramelized. They offer a great selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. I’d highly recommend dining here, and we’ll definitely be back soon. I know this is a long shot, but a Caribbean roast on Sunday would be a big hit.
First time dining at this clean, nicely decorated restaurant. The meal was excellent and I live in the Caribbean. The Oxtail I ordered was tender, hot and the rice cooked near to perfection as I preferred a little more coconut milk. The steamed veggies did not disappoint. Samantha waitress was very pleasant and engaging. Will be back on my next visit and recommend to friends and family.
Beautiful decor, friendly staff, Amazing food. This place was a recommendation and I mentioned it to my parents for their 23rd wedding anniversary. If you come here you definitely won’t be disappointed. The portions are large, so if you are hungry you‘ll definitely be satisfied. The rum punch and guiness punch were divine. The cost was worth every penny. For 3 of us it was under £100. Definitely will be going back and will pass on the recommendation.
